 Different parts of the circular knitting m/c with their function







a. Sinker: To hold previous loop in single jersey m/c.
b. Cylinder: Needles are set in the groove of the cylinder.
c. Cam and Cam box: To move the needle through a predetermined path to make knit, tuck or miss loop. 
d. VDQ Pulley: To control stitch length.
e. Feeder: To place the thread in front of the needle.
f. Creel: To place the yarn package.
g. Motor: To drive the m/c.
h. Miminger: To feed the lycra yarn.
i. Sinker box: To put the sinker in the box
j. Take up roller: To lapping the fabric on the m/c
k. Guide: To control the yarn for making the fabric.
l. Fan: To remove the dust from the yarn
m. Dial: Used to make double jersey fabric.
n. Wheel: To moving the various types of parts.
o. Belt: To transfer the power on the m/c.
p. Magnetic Disc: To control the yarn path.
q. Needle: To make the loop of the fabric.
